Seven.

Six.

"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through Him! For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation."

Five.

Today, I had the opportunity to climb the Sandia Mountain with Maddie and Emily. We trekked about half way to the top and decided to stop for lunch and a devo. Being in nature and hearing God's word coming from the precious mouth's of His children was inspiring and wonderful. We could see over all of New Mexico and basked in the beauty of God's brilliant design. The weather was perfect, the sun was shining, laughs were going around between us all... nothing could go wrong and nothing did. We came to the conclusion that we were ill- prepared; me wearing moccasins, Emily wearing rain boots, and Maddie wearing a skirt. But nonetheless, we were safe and did not fall down the mountain and die. We are wild things. Emily is Max, Maddie is a giant furry bear thing, and I am a scampering golden fox.

"... and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness and your night will be like the noonday."

Four.

"If we die with Him we will also live with Him. If we endure hardship, we will reign in Him. If we deny Him, He will deny us. If we are unfaithful, He remains faithful, for we cannot deny who he is."
2 Timothy 2:11-13

Three.

"Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died- more than that, who was raised to life- is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

'For your sake we face death all day
long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.'

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:34-38

Two.

"For it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said:
'Wake up, O sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.'"
Ephesians 5:14

One.

"Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. And I am the worst sinner of them all. But God had mercy on me so that Christ could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize they too, can believe in him and receive eternal life." 1 Timothy 1:15-16

Here's the Idea

Lately all of my friends have been creating these super cool awesome blogs. They also have been doing the 365 picture taking shin-dig thing. In my efforts to be cool, I am joining the two ideas and creating my very own, (not so) very original three hundred and sixty five day photo blog. In my efforts to be cool and creative, I also want to grow in God. Therefore, with all of my photos I'm going to post a verse. This verse will change daily and it is a verse I will ponder on said day. My posts may come at midnight, mid day, mid morning... they might be one sentence, one page, or they might be a paragraph. Any way it is... I would appreciate if you read it. Comment. Ponder. Stand in Awe. Hang your head in shame. Whatever. Do with this blog what you will.
